Spool the dyno up in
first gear, then drop into 4th and hold at 2000 RPM. Mash the loud
pedal when the operator gives you the signal. 3rd would have been a
better gear selection since it is almost 1:1, so transmission losses
would have been minized.

The ECU uses the wideband sensor data for fuel map adjustments. It's
