11/4/2003 was the date for the QV to meet the dynojet at Carolina Auto Masters. The main purpose is to perform fine tuning of the fuel and ignition maps. And of course HP/Torque numbers (377 rwhp/335 ft.lbs). 33-34 degrees timing is optimal. Torque remains flat to 38 degrees and then begins falling. Unfortunately the engine had a miss on #10 cylinder due to a failed plug extender. 12 runs in 4th gear were completed. I was able verify the MoTeC does perfect job of managing the air/fuel ratio. The sound of cat-less tubi exhaust stands your neck hairs on end. incredible!
