I work for Cisco, as a Distinguished Consulting Engineer defining next generation network and system architectures for Service Providers. My current technology focus spans core IP / MPLS network design and technologies, traffic engineering and management, QOS and video transport. My previous areas of focus include QOS and policy, resource and admission control for broadband networks, with associated work in the DSL Forum, the MSF and ETSI / TISPAN; I still maintain an active interest in these areas.
