I am an IP video consultant and provide consulting services in the networked entertainment and collaboration areas. I have been a research and development engineer since 2001, and have broad experience in mathematical modeling, performance analysis, optimization, standards development and intellectual property innovation. Between 2007 and 2015, I was with the Video and Content Platforms Research and Advanced Development Group at Cisco, where I have architected, designed and developed algorithms, protocols, products and solutions in the service provider and enterprise video domains.
I was based in San Jose, CA until early 2009. Then, I moved to Vancouver, Beautiful British Columbia (Canada). In July 2009, I moved to London, Ontario (Canada).
In late 2006, I graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Georgia Tech with a Ph.D. degree. The title of my dissertation is "Enhancing the multimedia experience in emerging networks." You can learn more about my dissertation research here.
