I am with the Video and Content Platforms Research and Advanced Development Group at Cisco. In general, I am interested in networked entertainment. Currently, I am working on reliable and scalable video transport and distribution over IP, and quality issues. In January 2010, I delivered a tutorial on IPTV and the Future of Video Services in IEEE CCNC 2010. You can find the slides here.

I worked out of the Cisco mothership in San Jose, CA until early 2009. Then, I moved to Vancouver, Beautiful British Columbia as a remote worker. Since July 2009, I have been working out of London, Ontario.

March 2007 - Giant Tree, Northern CA

In late 2006, I graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, GA with a Ph.D. degree. The title of my dissertation is "Enhancing the multimedia experience in emerging networks." You can learn more about my dissertation research here.
