Went to Montreal's McGill University to do a Bachelors in Computer Engineering.

Moved to Ottawa afterwards to work at Newbridge Networks and then Cisco Systems where I worked on the world's fastest router. In the meanwhile, skulked around at Ottawa's Carleton University and managed to finish a M.Eng, including a thesis on making peer-to-peer networks easier to search.

Travelled a bit too - Japan, Malaysia, HK in '98, Luxembourg in '99, Slovakia in '00.

Got married to a wonderful girl from Niagara Falls and took a honeymoon in Barbados in '01.

Southern India in '02. Cape Cod in '03. Motivated by an interest in African history and politics, we visited South Africa in '04.

Became a father in 2005!

Throughout nurtured a variety of interests, especially reading, music and finance. Indulging that last one, we've ended up here in New York while I work towards yet another degree.
