Windsurfing Lessons

Winsurfing is for everyone

Imagine sailing into the sunset after a hard day at the office, or shredding across the bay in 20 knots of wind. Windsurfing can be as exhilarating or as relaxing as you make it!

Is it hard?

Anyone can learn to windsurf! But if you have the supervision of a qualified and experienced instructor, you'll learn a whole lot faster.

About the Academy

Mr. Joe's Boardsailing Academy is Ottawa's newest windsurfing school. Starting now, windsurfers of all abilities will be able to take lessons at Britannia Beach, Ottawa's most popular (and only) windsurfing site. Beginners can learn at a site that has unobstructed wind and shallow water to stand in. Directors Joe Finisterre and Dave Luck are Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) certified instructors. Joe and Dave have taught windsurfing in the Caribbean and in Canada for a total of more than 15 years. See you at the beach!
