GMailWatch

Introduction

This is GMailWatch, a GNOME Panel mail watcher which displays Inbox summaries. Salient features of this version of GMailWatch are:

• Integrates within the GNOME Panel
• Displays sender and subject of received mail
• Adds a scrollbar to scroll through many items if needed
• User can configure the width and height of the box
• User can configure an application to load if the box is clicked (e.g. mail reader)
• User can configure an application to execute before each update (e.g. fetchmail)
• GMailWatch can now watch a remote POP3 mailbox without having to download the mail to a local spool

The binary distribution is basically the source distribution, compiled. Untar it, then type "make install".
