Week 16 (June 19-25)

Work on the turret is underway. Arches over kitchen and hallway entrance are added. As of this Friday the framing crew is done!

Week 15 (June 12-18)

Framing of roof and ceiling is done and roof sheathing has been added. Some flooring has been installed in the attic.

Week 14 (June 5-11)

This week the garage floor was poured. The roof is making progress.

Week 13 (May 29-June 4)

Framing of the roof is underway as the house really starts to take shape! Work has started on the garage floor. The electrician showed up to remove the old electrical panel so that it can be relocated on to the new exterior walls.

Week 12 (May 22-28)

This week started by installing floor insulation. Once complete, the subfloor top was nailed into place. Following city inspections, the framing has begun!

Week 11 (May 15-21)

The lumber for framing is arriving while more plumbing is installed along with HVAC ductwork.

Week 10 (May 8-14)

Some lumber arrived for the subfloor work. The crew very quickly started to frame the new floor. There was also new PVC pipe installed under the floor for the new bathroom and kitchen.

Week 9 (May 1-7)

Nothing much happened this week. Waiting for lumber to arrive. Our architect inspected the subfloor under our living room, which was built on concrete slab (originally it was supposed to be a garage). Apparently the work was not done properly, so we decided to rip up the flooring over the slab.
