Week 24 (Aug 14-20)

Interior walls are looking smooth. Next step will be texture. We'll be getting a texture called "old world". The crew started applying stucco on Tuesday.

Week 21 (July 24-30)

The paper and wire for stucco was finished and insulation installed. The crew had to do some work under the living room to shore up the floor because our hardwood floor company thought it had too much "bounce". We decided to install the prep for air conditioning so that it would be easy to add later.

Week 20 (July 17-23)

The roof was installed and Sue and I did more work on the wiring. We had a terrible heat wave this week but it did not seem to slow down the roofers.

Week 17 (June 26-July 2)

This week the framing was inspected and a few corrections made. Then windows were installed. Electricians Gary and Dave arrived to begin roughing in wall boxes and wiring. We started installing some low-voltage wall boxes, but need to wait until more electric wiring is in place so we know how to route around it.
