The Milky Way as seen from my backyard ( surrounded by trees! ). This photo was taken with a Mead DSI CCD camera with a 2mm 3com webcam lens mounted on it ( with a custom pressboard adapter by yours truly ). ( See more information on it here ). Using a 1000 Oaks LP-1 broadband light pollution reduction nebula filter really helps here in the suburbs of Seattle. July 2006.
