A panoramic splice of three shots looking back up from our hotel room at the Waikoloa Outrigger over the lava flow and back towards the hills. Some of the lava flows in the area started near the summit of Mauna Loa over 40 miles away and are several miles wide by the time they reach the sea. The 1859 lava flow is just south of the Wailoloa resort area.
