Landscaping

This page illustrates our multi-year landscaping project. We did all of the front work and a good deal of the back work ourselves.

-smThis picture shows the 4" drains for the downspouts and French drain, as well as the front yard sprinkler box.

-smThis view is from the same location but looking toward the street. You can see the rest of the French drain (it ends in a large gravel pit).

-smOur large river rock being dropped off (both sections of the dump truck were full).

-smLooking out from the front porch.

-smThese were the toughest trees for Glenn and I to plant - until we planted the monster tree in his backyard.

-smHere's a look at the backyard - we've planted a few additional trees since then on the rise in the center.

-smThe other half of the backyard.

-smThe manual labor that we killed installing the rocks.

-smVarious raw materials - compost, gravel, sand, mulch, and flagstones.
