Honeymoon

These pictures were taken after the reception in Las Vegas, on the return trip to Colorado, and on our honeymoon at Antler's Pointe in Estes Park, Colorado.

Last Night in Vegas

What a way to spend our wedding night - cruising around Vegas! My sister wanted to take me on the roller coaster ride at New York - New York, and also on the Big Shot on top of the Stratosphere. After all that excitement, we went to the Holiday Inn to get something to eat at Quark's, but they were closed. We ended up at the cafe where we were seated by the most annoying hostess EVER!

The Trip Home

We barely got to the airport in time for our departing flight from Vegas, but we needn't have worried - it ended up being delayed by an hour. When we arrived in Phoenix, we had less than 5 minutes to catch our scheduled connection - but it ended up being late too. Unfortunately, our luggage did not make it onto the flight. Once we got to Denver, we waited for the next flight from Vegas, but it was delayed as well (surprise, surprise). We decided not to wait (there was no guarantee that our luggage was on that flight anyway), and to head fo the honeymoon room that we were already paying for (we didn't get to Estes Park until about 1am).

The Honeymoon

We spent our honeymoon (what little there was of it) at the Antler's Pointe cabins in Estes Park, Colorado. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing after the hectic wedding days. Unfortunately, we missed out on much of the first night because of the lost luggage, and most of the next day when we had to go down to Longmont to get our luggage (which Bryan then forgot to put in the trunk). We also had to leave early so Kat could make a trip to Salt Lake City with Kira for a surgery. Guess we'll just have to go back!
