Club Nationals, Day 1
Day 1 of the 2007 USATF National Club Track & Field Championships came to a close at 10 PM tonight, and GBTC is in the mix of things. Highlights include Dan Olson seizing the club record in the high jump (he previously shared it in a three-way multi-decade tie), Stacey Connor harvesting 10 points among the throws, including breaking her own club record in the discus. Gretchen Chick also established herself as the 4th fastest GBTC women ever in the 5000m. Our women are holding onto 4th place (out of 19) with 36 points, while our men are currently in 6th (out of 22) with 18 points.
