Forecasting the weather

Here are Noel's tips on determining the weather and field conditions.

• First I hit link #1 for the radar loop. It is fairly accurate. The first shade of green indicates light rain or drizzle. Definitely playable if the field conditions are okay.
• For field conditions 2 & 3 are good. A lot of rain leads to bad field conditions. Often the amount of rain is "T" or trace amount which basically means the amount of rain is less than it being watered with sprinklers.

5. NOAA - Weather forecast
• Use the loop to determine how fast the weather is moving in an hour.
• The rain usually slows downs and lessens as it hits the hills from the ocean to the valley.
