Race Results Current Month Other Months		December 1996 3rd Annual Globe Santa Scamper 5K Road Race Well, people must really be behind in their Christmas shopping, because only two CRC members showed up in West Roxbury to see Santa. Our friends from the Parkway Running Club raised over $1000 for the Globe Santa, and Bruce Davie and Scott Duhaime battled misting rain and nipping dogs to place 3rd and 7th overall in this challenging 5K race, featuring two long hills. Bruce finished just behind the leaders in 17:47 (5:44), while Scott had them in sight for a while and finished in 19:07, (6:10), a PR for the course by 27 seconds. He's run it every year. You'd think he'd know the hills by now... Other December Races: December 8th Dave Quilty cracked the top 50 at the 9th Annual Yuletide Stride 5 Miler for Aids in Boston. His time of 33:28 (6:42) was good for 47th place. December 15th New member Lionel Kervella came in first at the Merrimac, MA 6 Mile Santa's Toy Trot with a time of 34:17 (5:43), while Ann Tassinari was 28th in 51:30 (8:35).
