Pipeline

What is Pipeline

Pipeline is a technical publication produced by the Customer Support Division (CSD) of Silicon Graphics. It is distributed six times a year to all warranty and support customers. It contains Frequently-Asked Questions from customers, tutorials, and tips and tricks on various subjects. For examples, refer to the Recent Table of Contents later in this article.

Who Is Entitled to Pipeline

Each SGI system that is under warranty or has a support contract is entitled to one copy of Pipeline. Customers who do not have any systems under warranty or support should contact their local office for support contract pricing information.

If you have multiple systems under warranty or support, and you are only receiving one copy (or no copies) of Pipeline, you should check to see who in your organization is listed as the owner or the literature contact for that system.

Canadian and US Customers

If you cannot determine who is the owner or literature contact for the system, or the owner of the system has not been receiving Pipeline, send your name, address and the serial numbers of all machines under contract to pipeline@sgi.com

Customers Outside of North America

If you cannot determine who is the owner or literature contact for the system, or the owner of the system has not been receiving Pipeline, you will need to contact your local office to resolve the problem.

Third Party Customers

If your support contract is through a reseller or other third party organization, you will need to contact them directly regarding distribution of Pipeline.
