Striped Shore Crab

Every crevice seemed to have its own striped shore crab. These beautiful crabs with iridescent green markings scurried away as we approached and hid themselves in watery crevices while clicking their claws.

Standing still for a moment would often give you a chance to see the crabs plucking seaweed with their claws and stuffing it into their mouths.
