Disneyland Feb. 2005

| 4 day Park Hopper Tickets -
flew from SJ to Anaheim Friday 2/18. Flew home Tues. 2/22/2005. Went
to CA Adventure on arrival for 4 hours (5PM-9PM). Spent 2
full days at Disneyland (12 hours on birthday) and a full 2nd day at
California Adventure. Lots of attractions (including Tiki Room, Space
Mountain, Splash Mountain, Disney Railroad and
most of tomorrow land) were closed for renovation for Disneyland's 50th
anniversary celebration this spring. |
The lines were short because of
the rain and time of year, so 4 days was an adequate amount of time to
see both parks. |

Stormy start to Kathy's 51st birthday. View of the Matterhorn from 6th floor room at the Howard Johnson Hotel across Harbor Blvd. Lighting strike shook building and set off car alarms to wake us at 6:45 on birthday morning. |

| First evening of arrival - Our first visit to
California Adventure Park - our favorite attraction is "Soarin' Over
California" - A hanglider/ride/movie. Disney's Electrical Parade closes
the park. |

| A Walk in Walt's Footsteps - Historical tour of
Disneyland 2/19/05. Our tour guide is Andrew. Newly weds Susan and John
completed the tour group. |

leaving - still had a wonderful trip despite the rain. This is a zoom
