Comparison of the stock 60mm throttle body and the BBK 75mm model 1524

The BBK was made for a Ford Mustand and cost less than $200 at Summit Racing.
I chose to try the aftermarket TB more for the ability to bolt on the Idle
Air Control Motor (seen on right) and Throttle Position Sensor, rather than
for any performance increase - but I can hope ..

Intake plenum ground out to fit the 75mm TB.

Same, but assembled. Note the throttle position sensor on the right.
In order to install the TPS on the right it was put in upside down.
This required cutting away the plastic on the opposite side of the spindle
hole to expose a hole completely through the sensor.
I then welded a short extension onto the TB throttle shaft to mate with
the TPS hole.
