Update 01/14/2001

Seeing was pretty mushy, but with the 4 images below,  I attempted to catch the transit of Ganymede and Io.

Update 11/15/2000

Focus is better this time, also you can make out the GRS (Great Red Spot),  and the moons Europa., Io left of Jupiter and Ganymede on the right.

RGB @  f/5.9 taken in my back yard. If you adjust your monitor, on the left you can see Europa (farthest out) and Ganymede, on the right you can see Io.
