Since I live near Denver, Colorado, I thought I would name my first daywear doll after my new home town. That and she looks like some of the women who shop at some of the more exclusive malls around town. This doll weard gold studded suede pants and a matching brown and suede jacket. She has hand painted boots, matching purse and hatboxes and shopping bags to hold all her day's purchases. This doll was entered in the Barbie Bazaar Make-Over Artist Contest featured in the June 1999 issue. She won a first place Crystal Award for her category of Contemporary Daywear.
