A spokesman from NASA reported today that they have incontrovertible
proof that Saddam Hussein is hiding on the planet Mars. The
spokesman showed photographs taken by the Mars Global Surveyer
spacecraft in orbit around the Red Planet. The spokesman
described the photos as the highest resolution images yet obtained of
the infamous "Martian Face". Previous images of this
surface feature vaguely resembled a human face. The high
resolution photos taken by Global Surveyer show the face in much more
detail. The photos included digitally enhanced images of the
Martian Face.

The new images are purported to be a message from the denizens of Mars
that they are harboring Saddam. Nasa has turned the photos over
to the Department of Homeland Security. A spokeman for Tom Ridge,
Secretary of Homeland Security, reported that communications from Mars
had been intercepted. These radio messages appeared to be
instructions to Iraqi citizens to continue their attacks on the
"infidel occupiers".
The Homeland Security spokesman also reported that they have received
detailed images from the Mars Exploration Rover spacecraft "Spirit",
currently enroute to Mars. These images are being touted as proof
of the existence of weapons of mass destruction on the surface of Mars,
and are possibly the very weapons that Iraq possessed before the war in
March and April.

The president has called a special session of the U.N. to present the
new evidence. The president made a brief statement, saying "we've
finally caught them, and we're going to nail them." The president
is also said to be considering possible military options. "We
have not ruled out any avenue, up to and including a military response
against Mars", the president said.
