M31
| This image of M31 is composed of one 120 second
exposure taken on top of Table Mountain near Wrightwood California on August
3, 1997 with my Meade LX200 10" telescope with my new SBIG ST8 CCD camera
at a focal ratio of F/4.94
The average person can see the Andromeda Galaxy naked eye in dark skys. It appears as a fuzzy ball of light in a background of stars. |
