"Château de Clérans à St-Léon-sur-Vézère"
watercolour

I've always been able to draw, and I can get the effect I want with acrylics by going and going until it looks OK, but I find watercolours incredibly difficult.

I can never leave a brushstroke untouched - so my watercolours always end up overpainted and dull. Thats what's happened to this one.

The chateau is in the Dordogne, overlooking some troglodite caves that we visited in 1999.
