This painting was made from two photographs I took at the Artis (Amsterdam's zoo).
Ann-Marie didn't like my first attempt because I'd painted part of the zoo enclosure, so I tried it again with a more natural background.
She was obviously right because this was the first painting I sold at
exhibition.
