Games

In the early 1980s I wrote some games for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. They were quite successful for a couple of years but eventually sales dwindled to nothing. Now, ten years after assuming they were dead I find my games are alive and well, living in internet software archives and running on Spectrum emulators. I am quite happy to distribute these files as freeware.
  1. Download a spectrum emulator. A good site featuring emulators and a spectrum software archive is Martijn van der Heide's World of Spectrum

  2. Download the games...
Gnasher was my best seller; a Pacman style game which reached number eight in the Spectrum charts. It was initially marketed by R&R Software of Gloucester and later by Mastertronic. Altogether we sold about 25,000 copies.

Star Trek was my first attempt at Spectrum programming. It was written in BASIC but got good reviews and I still think its quite fun.

I also painted the cassette covers for some of R&R Software's games, including Gnasher. Please visit my Artwork page to view them.
