Seeking memories of Ernie Olds

"Ernie Olds' youngest son, Jeff, was too young to ever know his own
father when Ernie was reported as missing in action (1968), then later
determined to have been killed in action (1978) in Vietnam. 
Accordingly Jeff would like each of Ernie's classmates and friends at York
to recall in their own words who his father was and what he was like, as
they can best recall. It would mean a lot to Jeff, as Ernie's parents are
long gone now and Ernie's brother, Larry, although still living, was himself
too young at the time to recall what his own brother was like. Please help a
