Wild Saturday night:-)

Thinking of you friends that have memories of dances, parties, and late late night breakfasts got me to comparing then and now. Yesterday... Jennifer and I napped most of the afternoon. We ate left over sandwiches for dinner. -- I was at the CISCO office last Tuesday where there had been a meeting. There were many many left over sandwiches. I wrapped them in the plastic wrap which had been their cover and took them home with the intention of feeding them to the birds. They were delicious. We took showers and arrived at the Central Mass Repertory Theatre's production of "The Last Night of Ballyhoo" presented in a local church five minutes before the scheduled beginning. We lucked out to get two seats for which the original owners had not showed. The show was great fun. Principles in the cast were: The son of Jennifer's High School musical theatre teacher (her husband was the show's Director). The theater instructor from a Fitchburg middle school. The husband of an English teacher at a Fitchburg elementary school (the wife was seated in front of us in the audience). A faculty member of Fitchburg State College. A Sophomore at FSC and a Junior at Ayer High School. Jennifer personally knew four of the six. I knew two. Very tasty free goodies were available at the break. Five bucks bought a Central Mass Rep coffee mug. After the show Cafe latte at the Barnes and Noble in the Water Tower Mall. (So named and logo'd because of a real railroad steam engine water tower that stood right by the entrance to the mall. It was dismantled a couple years ago. I don't know why.) Almost everybody who is anybody and is not in bed already can be found at Barnes and Noble on Friday or Saturday night. No one we knew was there last night so we drank our shared coffee while scanning the hundreds of magazine covers and the Reduced Price table; bought none; and left at 11:00PM. That my dears was a Joneses in Fitchburg 2002 style night on the town.
