Instructions for finding Fitchburg, MA Aero Maps at the Library of Congress


Here is a blow up of just a tiny bit of the 1883 map.  It centers on
City Hall.  Even the number of chimneys is accurate!  This is a 229K gif
file.

Go to the Library of Congress WEB page.
Follow these instructions:

Browse to http://lcweb.loc.gov/homepage/lchp.html

Click on "USING the LIBRARY" 

Click on "Digital Collections & Programs"

Click on "American Memory Historical Collections"

Click on "Search"

Fill in the "Search For" field with "Fitchburg, Ma"

Click on Search.

You will get a page that has the following leader,

Somewhere in the list should be:
