In closed position we are offset. Timing is SSQQ. Won't bother
with number notes, since it takes six beats in a 4/4 rhythm to
get through this. Going down the line of dance, start diagonal
wall, do forward right turning basic, which will leave me facing
back diagonal wall, then do back left turning basic, which will
leave me again at diagonal wall. Can stick a promenade between,
and a promenade pivot at the corner.
Foxtrot is a heel lead. Bring feet together for each step.
Driving step. I think I should feel like I am skating. When I am
doing 'side-together', it should be kind of like I am going over
a speed bump. Once again, right shoulder should not jut
forward. In all steps, feel should be like I am ice-skating.
-
On back step, reach back with toe, like I am looking for
pot-holes.
