XTR team training
There were 8 ropes rigged. I got in 7 rappels and 7 climbs, and Lisa got 5 each.
Lisa rigged (with a no-knot on a tree) Terry's rope again, and it worked great.
It was hot and sweaty. Clouds blew in now and then, temperature dropped a few times,
and we heard thunder, but we only got a few sprinkles of rain.
Were off the rock by around 4pm and went to Pies and Pints for dinner. Had a group
of close to 30 people, and getting seated was going slowly. Got about 10-12 seated,
and the rest bailed out and went to Miguel's for Mexican.
Most of the rappel team (28 people) went whitewater rafting on the Lower New on Sunday. Benji setup the trip for us. Just over 3 hours on the water and had a great time.
