Description

Lisa didn't join us for this trip because she was sick. Looking at the weather forecast for the weekend, I was thinking about wimping out, and with Lisa not going was even less interested in going. Luckily, Peter was still interested, and we had planned to ride together so I had motivation to keep me in the game. I'm glad I didn't wimp out.

The car thermometer read 7 degrees F when we got up to the WVACS field house. I slept by the wood stove: my left side was roasting and my right side was cool from a draft from the door. Saturday, we got underground in Organ Cave (going in and out the Lipps entrance). We had a big group of 18.

It was snowing when we came out.

Dinner was at the Mexican restaurant in Lewisburg.

• covered about about 3.5m iles of cave
• very cold when we went in
• rhime ice on trees by entrance from steam coming out of entrance
• snowing when we left
• dinner at Rio Grande in Lewisburg
