This section is under construction .... well, maybe it's more under design than construction ... but at least I'm starting to work on it. :-)

Indoor Climbing

I climb at the Vertical Edge in Durham, NC. It's a pretty nice indoor climbing gym. (It's the only climbing gym I've been to so I don't have much to compare it to.) I've been climbing there since October, 1997.

Outdoor Climbing

My first trip climbing outdoors was back in December of 1998. Outdoor climbing is great, and I can't wait to get back out and do more! I am keeping logs (stories) of my trips which you can read by following the links, below. I have most of the gear needed to climb outdoors (including some ropes), and I've put together a decent lead rack.

El Potrero, Mexico: My girlfriend, Lisa, and I went to El Potrero just north of Monterrey, Mexico to climb for four days during the second week of January, 2000. It was awesome! We traveled down there with a friend and met another friend who was already down there. I gathered some links and a little bit of info about El Potrero and traveling to Mexico in preparing for the trip.
