My Youth

I was born in Buffalo, New York.

From third grade on my family lived in Liverpool, New York, just outside of Syracuse.

College Life

After my junior year in high school, I decided to go to . I graduated with a BS in electricalengineering in January 1988. I received my Masters in Engineering Management in January 1989.

New York City

My first job after college was in New York City. I lived in on 47th street in manhattan and worked for Enterprise Technology Corporation providing financial institutions (banks and insurance companies) with trading and pension systems. While in New York, I learned to fly at an Lindenairport in New Jersey. 

Boston

In November 1991, I moved to Waltham, MA and worked for GCC Technologies designing software for postscript laser printers. After two years, I decided it was time to move on and took a job with Lighstream Corporation in Chelmsford, MA. Cisco systems bought Lightstream in January 1995, which is where I currently work developing IOS for routers and switches.  Currently, I am in the MPLS group at Cisco.  I led the software team for the 12008 GSR.  Prior projects have revolved around writing software for the Lighstream 2020, an ATM Cell Relay Switch.

Nancy and I were married on November 9, 1996 in southern New Jersey.

Since then, we have been holding a yearly Independance Bash.
