Duke Hervis de Revel of Anglia
(as of 530 AD)

Hervis de Revel is the descendent of the kings of the Iceni. He was forced
to flee when Quichelm landed with his invasion fleet. Hervis hates all
saxons, and he defiled the body of Quichelm after he killed him at Badon.
Hervis made a name for himself raiding into Anglia during the years before
Badon, and his deeds made him the natural choice to rule the land after
Badon. He treats his Saxon subjects as less than animals, subjecting them
to rape and murder at his whim. The landholders of Anglia are as cruel to
the saxons as their lord, and it is no wonder that Anglia rebels twice
during the years after Badon. hervis never travels out of his castle
without a bodyguard of 6 knights, all armored in partial plate and mounted
on chargers. he fears his subjects (with good reason), and seldom hosts
tourneys or other gatherings where he might be caught in a crowd.
