St. Albert Polish Roman Catholic
Pastoral Mission
St. Albert Polish Catholic Mission presents the design of the new church
and Polish cultural center, currently under construction in San Jose, California.
We are proud to say that we are entering the new millennium with the
gift of being able to enrich our faith and Polish culture by building our
own religious and cultural center.
We have started this great project with the following goals in mind:
-
To fulfill the dreams of having our own church and cultural center, dedicated
to prayers and meetings for the Polish community
-
To pass the richness of Polish traditions and culture onto the new generation
of children and youth
-
To share the rich Polish culture and tradition of faith, in English language
The church design includes two separate buildings. The first multipurpose
building contains a church upstairs, and a parish hall, office, and living
quarters downstairs. The church seats 300 people, and has a separate crying
room. The parish hall, a place for meetings and cultural events, includes
an attached kitchen and a small gift shop. The second building is designated
for the education of children and youth: catechization, Polish Saturday
School, and a scouting organization. It has 6 classrooms and a conference
room.
We are happy to inform you that the construction should be completed
by the beginning of 1998.
