Keegan's home page
Keegan means "little fiery one" in Arabic. This refers to both Keegan's
coloring as well as his temperment! (Although, to be fair, Keegan
has slowed down a little now that he's no longer a kitten.) Keegan
was added to the family right after Beast died
because Basti seemed to be wondering around the
house looking for her "brother". Keegan is a red Abyssinian
and he's just over 1 year old. He's quite intelligent and likes to always
keep track of what everyone is doing. Keegan is "momma's little boy"
and can many times be found in Kelly's lap or at least close by.
He likes to be hugged and really enjoys being right between "mom" and "dad",
even to the point of sleeping there, under the covers, with his head on
the pillow! He's constantly getting into trouble these days.
His usual trouble spots are on the kitchen counters, or bothering Basti.
Sometimes he also hangs out with his 6 month younger brother Rafiki.
They spend time either cleaning each other or biting each other.
Usually both at the same time!
Boys will be boys!
