Satin:06/28/1998
June 28, 1998: What fun! I run from Rachel and the crowd, and arrive at the litter bearing Reuben. Rachel and Glen arrive shortly after me, panting slightly. Rachel looks a bit confused, but she'll get over it. Then we heard a load voice, as if from a megaphone, yell, "STOP THIS!" The crowd stops, which impresses me, some of them had been having quite a bit of fun. Michael is standing on the railing above the gate, which looks nifty, he must have a good sense of balance, so I looked at his aura. It extended about 4-5 feet from his body and is a beautiful golden color. "Huh, he really is a prophet," a murmur. He says, "The prophecy has been fulfilled. The gods have come. We must go home." He then grabs the railing and drops to the ground, no small distance I might add. And he really is rather cute. He opened the doors as the crowd backs away from us. Before we leave, Rachel raises her voice and asks for her jacket back. Someone falls before her with a jacket that isn't hers. She again asks for it, and we see it coming across the crowd, where it is eventually dumped on the ground, obviously no one wants to take responsibility for it. It has definitely seen better days. Well, guess it's time to say goodbye. I start walking toward the crowd, and Rachel comes up to me, and tells me we need to talk. "Not right now. Back off." I dance a bit closer to the crowd, glancing back to be sure Rachel listened, don't need her getting all horny again so quickly. I waved to the crowd and yelled, "Don't forget about me!" as I cast another feeling of ecstasy into the crowd. Several people collapse, some are supported by others, and a small clump of my devoted followers, who were not shy about dancing with me, are having fun amongst themselves yet again, restarting the orgy in miniature. Grin.As I walk back, I see Glen working on Reuben, the suddenly, Reuben jumps up, yells, "Son of a Bitch! What was that!?" Everyone falls to the ground, except us of course. I'm still dancing, but closer now. We quietly tell him we are gods. I tell Rachel about Michael's aura, she was telling Reuben about him, so I figured they should know. So Rachel tells Michael we need to talk privately, and he says, "Then we need to return home." "Where is home?" Reuben asked. Michael replied, "Please lord, don't make me speak the name where others may hear me." He pulls a bugle from his robes and plays it, and everyone gets up. We get ready to leave, telling them we no longer need the litter. I notice the guy is still sketching pictures of us. We walk out, I stay to the back of our heavenly bunch, still dancing. I get pinched on the butt by someone. I laugh and keep dancing. It's so nice to be appreciated.
We walk/dance a good distance, to Duke Campus, the older part. At the gate, Michael bugles again, then we go in. There are about 20 guys with machine guns on either side of the gate, some of them actually pointing the guns at us. I concentrate and expand my awareness out more, to get a good look at things. We are lead to the cafeteria, where we smell food and see a few people. Rachel again tells Michael we need to talk privately. He tells his people to eat and leads us to a room. Reuben sits, I lounge on the couch. Rachel then asks for room so I lift my feet and she sits and I place my feet in her lap. Sara leaves. She hasn't looked real thrilled for awhile now. Rachel runs her fingers down my leg, so I gently kick her. Reuben asked what happened, so we fill him in. Tell him how he gave us new bodies and about the rather spectacular fall. Alex asks Michael how he knew we were coming. I reply, "Because he's a prophet. I can tell just by looking at him." That comment prompts a stare from Michael. I grin at him. Alex asks for more. Michael says, "I told them what you told me." Then I see Amethyst walk by. It had to be her, Sara never walks that determinedly toward a crowd. I jump up and say, "Amethyst is going to the cafeteria." Rachel jumps up with an "Oh shit!" I try teleporting to her but can't, so I just run. She starts yelling from the door of the cafeteria, "You people are all idiots! How can you believe that we are gods?!" She is spewing lights out her mouth. I start laughing, I can't help it. I tell her, "Amethyst, you are such a fool!" Reuben tells her not to make it any worse than it is. She starts ranting. I decided to speed up our time, to lessen the affect on the innocent masses. I manage four times faster, so nothing we say will be understood by anyone but us and Michael. Amethyst turns to Michael and demands to know what is going on. He says they are here to serve. "Who?" "You." "Why?" "You are gods." "No, we're not." "But she is." He points to Rachel. Rachel says, "No, I'm not." Michael pauses. I tell them no one else can hear us. Amethyst asks why. "Just because." "Bitch, " was her reply. Rachel asks for Michael's help in understanding. Amethyst tries to leave, but I grab her arm. Alex goes on about no shroud and not knowing where she would go if she died. She doesn't care. Reuben actually yelled at her and said, "You will give us time to figure this out or spend it unconscious!"
That calms her a bit at least. So she asks, "What prophecy?" And Michael repeats the prophecy I had made on the vortex. Oh, that Prophecy. "I wonder if I did that?" Michael replies, "You did. I'm sure of it." Amethyst wants to know why we are helping him. "Because I foretold it. It is true because I prophesied it. I'm a fortune teller, and it is the future. And we have found the Messiah." Reuben asks who. I point at Michael. He tries to deny it. Rachel convinced him. Alex says we need food and rest. He claps, but nothing happens. I tell them no one could hear us because I sped up time around us. Reuben told me that was good thinking. Michael also seems pleased, less explaining for him to do. He then takes off his robe and hands it to me. He is quite handsome, since he is now naked. Rachel says, "No one should be without," and hands me her jacket, which I put on but don't zip. Michael gets dressed again. "Are we calm?" I direct at Amethyst. "Yes." So I drop the Time effect.
Michael leads us to a dorm with armed guards, whom we find out are our holy guardians. The side doors are all barricaded. The front was kinda decorated, obviously for us. We decide we want one room for ourselves, so we get a study lounge on the second floor of three. People bring in beds, some of the bigger guys look like football players. I ask how to reach Michael, and he said there will be people, just ask, should I stay? Nope. So he leaves. We are alone in the room, with two guards outside. Amethyst goes to bed, and Reuben's head turns into a black Irish Wolfhound's head. Ah, paradox. I burn a little bit, and feel better afterwards. "I can help Time, so we can have as much as we need in as little as possible." We decide time is much needed, so I go outside and tell the guards we need food and drinks, enough for a few days. They bring us bagels and breads and various other stuff that can survive without refrigeration. We also get large containers of water. I then tell them not to disturb us for awhile, many hours.
I cleared a space and started dancing. This dance is a very technical dance, it doesn't take up a lot of room, and it is repetitive, starting slow and getting faster as the spell continues. Reuben starts a beat, which helps. Rachel sings. I start twisting time, the botch. So I start again, and botch again. I collapse on the floor, panting. I get back up, and start again, with my chorus starting again too. I twist time to twice as fast, and stop. "Sorry about that. Time is twice as fast. I'm tired." The botching took a lot out of me. I take of Rachel's jacket and crawl into bed about 2pm.
I wake up around 6pm, fully rested after a good 8 hours of sleep. I stretch, and I'm really sore, and I notice the bruises I got the day before from landing on our floating disk are pretty ugly. Reuben comes over and asks if he can help. Sure, but it's just some bruises. Reuben heals me, and I go munch a bagel as he helps the others. Reuben and Rachel examine Glen's arm, and I began dancing. I botch and fall to the floor again, pound it with my fist, and get up and eat another bagel. At 7pm, I start again. Finally, at midnight, effectively 10 hours of dancing later, I collapse asleep on the floor. Time is now 5 times faster.
