Kasee: Well there were four of them. Morgan and Crystal and Mary and, wait a minute... Mary was the little girl, but we called her Crystal. What color hair did she have?
Amethyst: Blonde
Kasee: Then it was the right kid. There were four of them, and they all had different colored hair.
Amethyst: Convenient telling them apart.
Kasee: They were strange. Crystal was kinda scary actually. I remember Mary talked to Crystal in her head. Crystal didn't seem quite right. They all weren't, they were scary. Why were you talking to her?
Amethyst: Crystal came and talked to Cab when those Spiders were about to eat her. Sara doesn't like spiders much anymore. But, OK, what I remember, well, Cab went off looking for you and she was wandering through that other world place
Kasee: Spirit World
Amethyst: Yeah, whatever. It's one of those magic things. And, then there were these spiders crawling around in there. And they seemed to think they were bad because it made it harder to do magic. Ok. And, so, Reuben was there too. He made it into the room where you were. At least I guess he did because he made it where Cab was. I was watching with Cab. And then the spiders came and they spun webs all around Cab, and they trapped her. She couldn't move and she couldn't do magic. She couldn't escape. And then Crystal showed up.
Kasee: Okaaaaay....
Amethyst: And then they talked, stuff I didn't really understand about 'giving up dreams' and I don't know. And then Crystal just reached out and pulled something out of Cab. This blinding light sort of thing, but, like her soul or something. And then it hurt, because I felt it. And that's the only thing I remember. But I guess somehow or another she got out. But what happened after that? When she went unconscious, so did I.
Kasee: She went unconscious, ended up in my room. Reuben woke me up and I gated us out of there. There were alarms and stuff going on because bad people were coming.
Amethyst: That was probably a good idea.
Kasee: According to the chart they were going to lobotomize me.
Amethyst: That's not usually a good idea
Kasee: No.
(insert cognac break here)
(in the background Rachel wants to find a way to see if Cab's soul or Avatar are still there. You can't really tell by looking at them. However, Rachel has a very close relationship with her Avatar, and wants to ask her Avatar to look in on Cab's. But she botches. Her Avatar isn't talking to her today. This means she also can't do magic today, since you do magic through your Avatar. Owie...)
Steve: (gleefully) You've pissed off your Avatar!
Beth: Take it from me, that's a bad thing to do.
Rob: Roll Avatar again.
Thomas: Can I spend a point of willpower?
Rob: Yes
Thomas: Cool, I do
Rob: Good
(more cognac)
Kasee: So after that we gated to Pullen Park. And we called the Chantry. And we came back. And you were unconscious. No, wait, Sara was unconscious. You didn't exist.
Amethyst: I existed.
Kasee: Ok, you exist.
Amethyst: That was after Crystal. I existed.
Kasee: OK. You were unconscious. Cab's still unconscious. Cab looks like Hell.
Amethyst: Yes she does, kind of. But I thought since I woke up, she should too. Maybe Crystal didn't give her somebody to help out.
Kasee: So, you're saying she pulled some glowing thing out of Cab, huh.
Amethyst: Yeah. Crystal said something about 'Would you give up your dream?' And Cab said 'Yes' Didn't make any sense to me
Kasee: That doesn't bode well for Cab
Amethyst: And she also asked her if she wanted to live.
Kasee: Yeah, but Cab used to do some really weird things with ... (sorry, too much background noise to tell here)
Julie: Hey, Rob, is there any chance I know what she's talking about when she says pulling that glowing thing out of her and, like, her soul?
Rob: No
Julie: I know what an Avatar is, but I wouldn't know about ripping them out of people
Steve: Well it doesn't usually happen.
Kasee: How come you can talk?
Amethyst: Well, why wouldn't I be able to talk?
Kasee: Because Sara couldn't. Because she was cut in the throat.
Amethyst: The cut's still there. It wasn't that deep. It didn't cut my vocal cords. Sara's just a wimp
(general laughter. Rob had chimed in perfectly with 'Sara's just a wimp' Rob really loves this flaw Sara picked up of another personality and which personality Beth is developing)
Amethyst: She lets things scare her too easily. That's why I'm here. Well, wouldn't you consider it excessive when because of that one experience she's never spoken a single word? She's a wimp! It was all psychological. She could have talked if she really wanted to. Instead she went off on all these silly tangents. She tried to learn how to do magic and things.
Kasee: But she can do telepathy. That's cool.
Amethyst: Yeah, but it's harder than just talking, why did she have to go through all that trouble. It's so stupid!
Kasee: But telepathy's cool!
Amethyst: Kasee... (warning voice. she's good at it already!) You wonder why you keep ending up being kidnapped
Kasee: I'm popular
Amethyst: You're insane
Kasee: But life would be dull and boring if you couldn't teleport.
Rachel: Would you like some wine?
Amethyst: No, thank you. Can you remember before you teleported?
Kasee: Yeah, pretty much.
Amethyst: Was your life boring then?
Kasee: Yeah, pretty much.
Amethyst: Always? You had nothing interesting going on?
Kasee: Actually I had to go to school.
Amethyst: School and teleportation... Nothing to do with each other...
Kasee: But it was school. I don't have to go to school anymore. That was cool.
Rob :Welcome to Kasee's World
Amethyst: But you didn't have to go to school, that made your life more interesting?
Kasee: It has
Amethyst: Well, then, even if you couldn't teleport, your life would still be more interesting. So teleportation was not required. You need to work on your logic.
Kasee: It wasn't teleportation. The technocracy was.
Amethyst: Interesting? Fun?
Kasee: No, required concentration. That's when I stopped going to school.
Amethyst: But you have school laws.
Glenn: Is that why you keep getting blown up by the Technocracy?
Kasee: I think so...
Amethyst: Did you get kidnapped at the same time as the house blew up?
Alex: So if we send you back to school...
Kasee: No, that was before the house blew up.
Amethyst: Well then you were kidnapped before the house blew up so those don't connect either.
Kasee: See, my Aunt, and then the Technocracy, and then my Aunt tried to kidnap me, and then I escaped, no, everybody else came and helped me escape. Actually I jumped from the car ran through the woods and then everybody else showed up and the werewolf, like, shredded them.
Amethyst: You keep talking about werewolves. I didn't know werewolves existed. (looks to the heavens) Why do werewolves have to exist? Why do faeries have to exist? Why can't the world be a less complicated place?
Kasee: Faeries exist.
Glenn: Have you ever seen the inside of an internal combustion engine?
Amethyst: No, as a matter of fact, I haven't.
Glenn: It's very complicated.
(general laughter and knee smacking)
Amethyst: Yes, but if I really tried I could understand that one.
Glenn : I wonder if it would help if you could look inside faeries, too?
Rachel: Kasee saw the inside of one, once
Amethyst: You grab me a faerie, and I'll dissect it. Then I'll understand them.
Kasee: I can get one!
Alex: Oh, No!
Rob (lead up music noises, Buump Buuuuump Baaaaaaaaaah!!!)
Rachel : Probably not a good idea, Kasee
(side insert conversation as Kim notes that Kasee really can call one, she has spirit 3, conversation degenerates again)
Rachel: Kasee, Reuben's not here
Kasee: So?
Rachel: You can't call faeries
Kasee: Yeah I can!
(party devolves into gales of laughter as we actually get Rachel's joke about Reuben)
Amethyst: In case anyone didn't notice, Reuben has slipped out on us again, and will be back eventually. Where does he go?
Amethyst: He's having an affair with some public figure, that's got to be what it is... All the tabloids would say that.
Kasee: I think I know where he went, but I can't say. It's the reason why I'm not allowed to go out in public anymore for a while.
Glenn: You found another way to keep blowing up in public
Kasee: Well if I go out in public, they'll kill me!
Glenn: So we'll just amputate your arm.
Kasee: No, because it has nothing to do with my arm. It's different people. There's now 2 groups trying to get me. And it's all Reuben's fault.
Glenn: If we amputate the arm, there'll be only one group trying to kill you
Rob: If we amputate her head there'll be no groups trying to kill her
Beth: It's a thought
Kasee: No, the people with the arm will still be trying to get me. They kinda want it back. They also wanted to lobotomize me.
Glenn: We could mail it to them.
Kasee: I'd rather have an arm, thank you very much
Glenn: We could get one of those ones from the store dummy.
Rachel: Kasee, who is the second group?
Kasee: I don't know
Rachel: But he probably knows
Kasee: He does know.
Rachel: And he didn't tell you?
Kasee: I don't think he could. It had something to do with oracles and stuff.
<The front door slams>
Amethyst: Who's there?
<Alex comes storming in>
Alex: Hey
Amethyst: Hey. What's wrong?
Alex: Reuben
Kasee: Reuben left
Rob counts down... 3... 2... 1... Steve is clueless.
Rob: That was a botched roll.
Julie: She's talking to you.
Beth: Give him time, he'll notice
Steve: He's pissed off, he's not noticing a whole lot right now.
Amethyst: What happened? Well, what happened?
Kasee: That's Amethyst
Alex: Nice to meet you
(more gales of laughter)
Amethyst: What is it with you people, can't you accept this?
Kasee: Well, you were Sara last time.
Rachel: Let's find out what happened with Reuben.
Alex: He's just a sissy.
Kasee: Didn't I just say that?
Amethyst: Yes, Kasee, you did. Now let him finish. You know where he went?
Alex: No, I have no idea. I'm just glad he's gone.
Amethyst: Something happened to make _you_ mad, what happened?
Alex: There's a girl in a coma sitting on the couch, and he won't do anything about it.
Amethyst: Not only that, but he's gone
Kasee: That's because Crystal came and ripped something glowing out of her. You know, Crystal's one of the four that started the Universe. She's an 8 year old kid.
Alex: Yeah, Kasee
Rachel: Scary, aren't they.
Kasee: Eight year old kids. We should eradicate them.
Rob: That's what they said ( faded out into the background)
Alex: Thank you Kasee. I tend to forget that humor really does help.
Kasee: No, I'm being serious. The four, we met them when we were looking for the werewolf's soul. They were the ones eating tea and drinking cookies.
Glenn: Isn't that the other way around?
Kasee: I think so.
Amethyst: Well, whatever, Crystal does exist.
Kasee: Well Reuben can't help Cab because if he does then they'll be trying to kill her too.
Glenn: So if Reuben helps someone they try to kill the person he helps
Kasee: Yeah, something like that
Glenn: Wonder if it would happen if Reuben tried to help himself
Thomas (to Rob): Does Rachel happen to know that she can't access her gifts right now?
Rob: No
Thomas: OK, she's going to try and look at Kasee in Prime
Rachel: Ow!!!!!!!!!!!
Rob: Oh My God! Kicked in the head!
Thomas: does she know now?
Rob: Yes!
Amethyst: Rachel, what's wrong? Would you like some more wine?
Rob: Boot to the Head! Spinning kick to the head! You Bastard!
Alex: You look like you just got an ice cream headache
Rachel: Almost exactly the same feeling, only further up. Oh, That hurt.
Alex: What did you try to do?
Rachel: I tried to use, uh, I tried to look at Kasee through Prime arts. Oh, God! My Avatar is on vacation. Pour me some more of that wine.
(pouring noises)
Amethyst: So how are people supposed to know to kill you, based on what Reuben did?
Kasee: Apparently I'm marked
Rob: Marked
Amethyst: I don't see any tattoos
Kasee: Hey, maybe I can't see it
(more stuff I couldn't quite get)
Alex walks over - None of ours
Amethyst: Please don't do that!
Steve: Actually Rob I look for any of the marks that I'm used to. Is she marked for death?
Rob: Oh, sure, roll Arete
Kasee: Is Crystal speaking to you
Amethyst: Well she just said something. She's gone now. (Note was passed from Rob to Beth: "The Void is awake. This may not go as well as hoped.")
Amethyst: Something about the void. I didn't understand it. I've got a bad feeling about this.
Rob (what Alex saw looking at Kasee): Bad things. Bad. Nobody has ever marked her, but all kinds of bad things. Bad things follow her. Live in her head. Mmm, great badness.
Alex: You're not marked. Maybe somebody should, but no.
Kasee: What kind of marks?
Thomas: Somebody peed on you.
Alex: For somebody to take you out.
Kasee: I AM marked for someone to take me out.
Alex: Bad things are going to happen to you, but you're not marked.
Kasee: Well Reuben said I was. So you're the other people trying to kill me!
Alex: But it wouldn't really help for... Oh, well...
Kasee: So are you one of the other people trying to kill me?
Alex: No I'm not trying to kill you
Rob: ...Yet
Rob (to Thomas about Rachel): So, You went to bed
Thomas: Yes. How long until the headache subsides and she can actually go to sleep?
Rob: Not long
Alex: So what did you say about Cab and somebody ripping glowing things out of her?
Amethyst: That's pretty much it.
Kasee: Amethyst said that she was linked to Cab, which Sara was linked to Cab, and she saw that Cab was stuck with spiders and then that Crystal that showed up, and she said something about "Will you give up your dream?" and Cab said "Yes" and so Crystal pulled some glowing thing out of her, but then that's the last thing she remembers.
Alex: I have no idea about any of the things that you've just mentioned.
Amethyst: Well, she did actually summarize it fairly accurately.
Kasee: Scary, isn't it?
Amethyst: Cab was captured by spiders, and she was in that, what do you call it again? Spirit Summer Realm or something?
Kasee: The Umbra
Amethyst: That's not the word you used last time
Kasee: The Spirit World
Amethyst: The spirit world. Okay.
Alex: Whatever
Amethyst: She was captured by spiders.
Alex: Okaaaay.
Amethyst: And they, like, froze everything.
Alex: Yeah, OK.
Amethyst: I don't know! (frustrated)
Julie: I don't even know if I know what Pattern Spiders are.
Beth: You were with them once
Kim: Yeah, you were there when we went through Porthos's stuff (part of the story of The Four)
Julie: We dealt with them?
Beth: Yeah
Rob: That's right, actually you have seen them before, because they came, in ironically Crystal's portion of the play, as I remember.
Kim: That's where Cab remembered most of her information, was 'been there, got froze by that'
Kasee: And the spiders solidify Reality.
Amethyst: But they're in an unreal place, how can they solidify reality? Do they solidify it here or there?
Kasee: Yes.
Amethyst: Whatever. Okay.
Kasee: They solidify it here.
Alex: But if you go there then it's not an unreal place.
Kasee: Yeah, I can go there. Hey I can probably go there pretty easily.
Alex: Where do you go when you dream? Is that real too?
Amethyst: I think we're digressing. At any rate...
Alex: But we don't know what got taken?
Amethyst: No. Just, Crystal appeared, they talked about stuff about lives and dreams and...
Alex: And she said she would give up her lives?
Amethyst: No, she said she'd give up her dream. In order to prevent, I don't even know what. I think she was trying not to die. Frozen forever by spiders. But, at any rate Crystal said "Okay. Interesting choice.", reached in, grabbed something, pulled it right out of her. And then everything went black.
Rob: Schplutt.
Alex: I figure Crystal's a friend of yours?
Amethyst: Never met her before then.
Alex: Okay.
Amethyst: She didn't seem much like an 8 year old kid. A very old 8 year old kid.
Kasee: Well, yeah, she's been through a few renditions of the Universe. Hell, I've been through one... two...
Beth: Actually it's the third
Kim: Yes, third, actually there was this one with all the Avatars swirling in Harmony. So this is number three for you.
Beth: You started the Universe twice.
John: Yeah, but she was already in that one.
Julie: No, I only started the Universe once
Kim: She existed when the Universe was happening.
Julie: Oh, yeah, we did do the play twice.
Beth: One time before that, and then the two times we started it.
Kim: This is number three.
Beth: You know, we didn't just have that whole conversation.
Thomas: So, how's your sex life?
Beth (as Amethyst): I don't know, I've only had a body for about half an hour.
(gales of laughter)
Steve: Good timing Rob! (visual joke)
Kasee: I think I need to go wake up Cab. I go walk out to the couch.
Amethyst: She wouldn't wake up for me. Go ahead Rob. "So there was this girl..."
Rob: No, I was just thinking, "I've only had a body for half an hour... I can't even masturbate that fast!"
(more laughter)
Thomas: Please, go on...
Kasee: I go out to the couch to try to look at Cab.
Rob: There's Cab. You still need to get a life.
Kasee: No, I'm just trying to shake her a bit. Cab, Cab, I really need your help! Cab, wake up!
Kim: She just sort of lies there and drools.
Thomas: The twentieth album of the Spice Girls! That'll wake her up.
Kim: I think the Lilith Faire album comes out later this month.
Beth: Um, oh, yeah, I forgot about it! Um. Um. Um.
Steve: did anyone take their experience points?
Beth: I need a two point Paradox flaw, because whenever, um, her, um, um,
John: Sara takes control?
Beth: Yeah! No! Yeah! Whenever Amethyst gains control she drops all the Paradox.
Steve: The Paradox she's carrying gets spent...
Rob: Oh, that's true. No, you're right. You're right.
Beth: I don't know, it was something I just decided.
Rob: No, that's a good idea.
Steve: So does the Paradox flaw only affect Sara or does it affect both?
Rob: It affects the body.
Steve: OK
Beth: Same person.
John: Paradox doesn't care! Oooooh!
Beth: Ok. I need to think of one I won't need to back justify this entire converstation. It's a 2 point flaw. Mind.
Thomas: You understand implicetly everything that Kasee says.
Rob: Hey, you've actually been following that.
Kim: Yes, since there's not a Janet here, you can sit wherever you want.
Steve: Do we have any other mind mages?
Beth: But I was just bitching at Kasee about that Kasee had no logic, so I can't use that.
Steve: If we can work it like feedback where if you get too close to the microphone, you get too close to another mind mage, wheeeeeeeeeeee.
Thomas: Of course if Rachel gets too close to a mind mage (bap!)
Rob: You, um. Here's a useful one: You contract narcolepsy. Now you fall asleep.
(laughter)
(Amethyst falls asleep with a thump right there right then in the kitchen)
