As for the dishes, my favorite is the Chicken Picatta. It is just the right combination of moist, delicate chicken in a tangy, buttery picatta sauce that makes even the worst day better. It goes well with any salad, and the bread is perfect for sopping up the last of the sauce. Add to this the slightly spicy roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables that accompany it, and you have one heck of a meal.
The last time that Mari and I went we took several friends, and the reaction was a resounding hooray. The dishes included chicken, veal and seafood, and no one was left wanting. The always-impressive wine list was once again my friend, and my night got even better.
One final note: the host and the waitress were more than accommodating, and we received top-notch service. For instance, did you know that cappers were a spice of the pepper family? We didn't, so we asked our waitress. She didn't know, so she asked the chef. He knew, of course, and she gladly informed us as she brought more drinks to the table. She earned that 25% tip!
