There will be a canned food drive at the Buddhist Temple on Vesak Poya Day (May 13). The cans will be taken to the North Carolina Food Bank, to distribute to needy people. If you are planning on participating, please consider buying cans from us kids. We will have a table outside the temple with assorted can goods for you to purchase and donate throughout Vesak Day. All proceeds will be used to purchase items needed for the temple. We will be making posters for the drive on May 7th at the temple along with decorating Vesak lanterns. Kids of all ages are invited to participate. Hope to see you there!
