African Signs

Some of the amusing/interesting signs seen in Africa. . . . . . . . .

It appears that if you don't eat on the train from Bulawayo to Victoria Falls you have to go back to your compartment and drink!

At Cecil Rhodes grave site in Matopos National Park, Nr Bulawayo, Zimbabwe they appear not to like "alcoholic stuff"

Normally when you see a sign warning you about wildlife on the road it's a guarantee that you won't see any. About thirty seconds later we almost hit two elephants as they came out off the bush and crossed the road right in front of our car.

Well that puts you in your place!

How brave are you?

Thank you

Another helpful sign at Windhoek airport.

What no Land Mine warning?

One way to avoid pollution in Etosha N.P.!

Hi and a great welcome to tourists!

A sign of the times.

Such useful information.

Obviously a very trader in Namibia - pity about the spelling.

Most reassuring to know that the diamond and gold reserves of Namibia are under the control of the Namibian police. I am sure this fact will be welcomed by all.

Watch out for the bugs over here in southern Africa.
