Erdinger Dunkel Weißbräu | Germany | 5.6 | A dark beer but really refreshing and full of flavour. www.erdinger.com Please try this beer no matter how much it costs in your country - it is perhaps one of the best beers in the world in my humble opinion. Full of chocolate, nutty, hops, malts taste - superb. It is on a standing with the best ales from Belgium including such greats as Chimay, Westmalle, Orval, etc. Also if you find yourself in Erding go on the brewery tour it is most imformative.

Erdinger Weißbräu | Germany | 5.3 | Very similar to the Erdinger Kristallklar. www.erdinger.com

Schneider Weisse - Edel-Weisse | Germany | 6.2 | Nil |
Yea gads. This is the worst beer I have ever tasted and I suspect it must have gone off but there is no use by date on the label. I had to pour about 80% of it down the drain.
Andreas Pils | Germany | 4.9 | I have tasted worse but nothing to get excited about.
Regenten Pils | Germany | 4.8 | Much the same as the above item.

Lowenbräu Oktoberfest | Germany | 4.9 | These blonde serving girls don't exist from my experience at the Oktoberfest a few years ago.
Franz Joseph Jubelbier | Germany |
5.5 |
A pleasant beer but I only bought it for the bottle!
Schofferhofer Weizen | Germany |
5.1 |
After pouring this beer through a tea strainer to get rid of the large lumps of yeast it was quite good. But I'm sorry those lumps, and I mean "lumps" tended to detract from the beer.

A pleasant tasting dark ale but not up to Erdinger Dunkel Weißbräu standards.
Weihenstephaner Tradition Bayerisch Dunkel | Germany | 5.2 |
Not really a Dunkel in my opinion - it is more of a nut brown ale in colour and is lacking in depth. I bought it hoping I had found a cheaper version of Erdinger Dunkel and I got exactly what I bought - a cheaper version with none of the intense flavours.
