Height c 38 cm

This pot was made from textured slabs of Keanne's white raku clay, joined at the leather hard stage and covered with an iron coloured slip, bisque fired in an electric kiln to 1000 C.

The inside was glazed with an earthenware clear glaze while the outside had black copper oxide brushed on thickly, then clear glaze wiped back. Finally copper carbonate was painted thickly on the top and allowed to drip, followed by the same clear glaze coloured with copper carbonate also allowed to drip. Fired to 1100C the effect  was very successfull, the thick layer of copper carbonate coming out almost metalic.
