didn't get away. I started scuba diving in 1991 off the South-Eastern
coast of Peninsula Malaysia.

a second. I was 13, he was 15.

Johor state swim team at the Malaysian National Swim Meet in Penang.
I think this was in 1984.
The
Johor state English Debating team. My high school retained the
trophy for 3 consecutive years (1984)
Even
though this was an English debate, the organizers put up the signs
in Bahasa Malaysia (Malaysia's national language). What was I
articulating so emotionally in this picture? I can't remember.
I do remember that this was the first time I got my picture published
in the Malaysian national newspapers. (1984)
This is
the brother I was hugging in my baby picture. This is how we
settled our differences as teenagers. Actually, this was taken
during our Tae Kwon Do examination. The referee was our instructor,
