Velociraptor's Paleontological Home Pages
I haven't grabbed the time out of my schedule
to really get cranking on a good web page...check
back...
In the future I hope to have some good info on dinosaurs here, plus
some info on my other hobbies: computers, computer and roleplaying games,
SGML, and any other interesting, weird, informative, or boggling stuff I
can find.
One thing I have decided to add: some of my
favorite movies and why.
Some other things to amuse you in the meantime:
- P.L.U.S. Home page,
one of the most streamlined (definately not for "rules lawyers") role-playing
games I've ever used. One of my favorite systems at the moment.
- TheText Encoding Initiative,
or TEI, one of the coolest SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language)
projects out there.
- squirrel.com home page,
a UNIX geek's delight. Put up by a UNIX sysadmin/cypherpunk, this
page has more resources on UNIX stuff and crpto than you can shake a
squirrel tail at.
- Austin
Lounge Lizards', one of my favorite bands. (How can you dislike
a band with "Fuck you, we're from Texas" in big letters
on the back of their T-shirts?) There's Real Audio on the L.Lz's page if you
want to listen in.
- FACT Internet Information
Center. FACT (Fandom Association of Central Texas) annually sponsors
ArmadilloCon, one of my favorite Sci-Fi cons. Quite a few members of
FACT are also on the committee running
LoneStarCon 2, the 1997 World Science Fiction convention.
- Dino Hunt by Steve Jackson Games, a collectible
card game with a twist. I haven't played, but plan on checking it out.
