December 2003

The first big snow in early December (12/6). It dumped so much that we were able to make a arch. Lauren promptly declared it to be a dinosaur and that's what it became.

Another shot of the snow. Neat arch heh? Two days of snow shovelling. Who needs any exercise?

OK, these photos are not in any particular order. This is a photo in the fall before the snow arrived. This was about the biggest pile of leaves we gathered. I collected the leaves pretty much as soon as they fell on the ground. Too eager to collect stuff for the compost pile.

We didn't venture too far to see the leaves changing colors. Perhaps we'll do that next year. But the view from the backyard is pretty spectacular.
