Another pretty good session at meyers. Fall is in the air, the water is still pretty warm, but with no sun, a 3/2 wetsuit doesn't cut it. I'm already in a dry suit. Used the Canon 700 IS teeny camera to take the movies. Thanks to gregg for filming my back roll attempts. Now I know what I'm doing wrong.... movie

Aug 28, 2005. The winds were howling at meyers. A south day with winds in 12-25 mph range. George, Gil, Greg, Karl, Kyle, and Wing were out having a great day. Unfortunately on such a good day, no-one really wanted to take pictures... so we have a short video that my wife and I took. Much thanks to Gil for bringing rescue Jet-Ski, sure beats hiking up the RR tracks.

Jul 21, 2005 -- ok, finally getting around to updating the photos for the summer. Got some shots of Greg on his 8M foil. Plywood rocks! Yep, Kiteboarding in ithaca is possible. It's not the best place to launch, but very do-able with enough kite flying skills.

A bunch of local wind surfers got together to try out kite snowboard at a field near sapsucker woods. This was after our first blizzard of the season. Unfortunately the snow was too deep to do any good boarding. Here's a movie of Roland flying away on my 2.6 meter. Sorry about the 'blair witch project' effects. I was trying to avoid getting run over. :)

February 2004

Finally got a chance to use my kites for real on the east coast! The wind was light but got one good run in. Hopefully the lake will stay solid for a couple more weeks. Next, gotta try on mountain board and buggy!
