Some photos of the mountain board runners built for the vermont
kite-storm event. Some scraps of plywood (3/4 birch) and a 2 inch x 36
inch x 3/8 inch piece of metal from the hardware store.
From this angle you see how everything is assembled.
Nothing fancy, just drywall screws and some wood glue holds the wood
together.
Note the rounded corners, it's surprising the crud the blades can run over.
T-nuts hold the blades in place. These are the same nuts we use to build our plywood kiteboards. (Subject of another web page that hasn't been made yet).
