Uncle shing came by to visit the family. Julian and Lauren are usually quite excited to see uncle shing. They love to inflate and jump on the air matress that we make uncle shing sleep in. This time however the nights were especially cold, and he was cold the last time he visited. So to the disappointment of the kids, he slept on the comfy couch with 3 blankets!

Shing had a chance to ride the small buggy sail that Nang built out of blue tarp and a 2x4. He was surprised that it can sail up wind. Too bad we got kick off the parking lot so soon. The stupid city of Mountain View imposed a no fly zone for wind power vehicles in my favorite (only) kite buggy park. Oh well, in search of new parking lots.

Note how small the vehicle it. Shing didn't get a chance to jib (gybe?) the buggy. No, it probably won't hurt too much if the boom bonked his head, it's pretty light.

Check out the fullness of the sail, the C-clamp holding the rig up, the ear to ear grin. Ah, the good life. And to think, it's a 4 dollar tarp!

Last pix. Just another smiling face, this guy has some practice with that, what is he, an marketing executive?
